"Apple Juice" includes fourteen original fingerstyle/fingerpicking tunes and three more arrangements of classic fingerpicking tunes. After my many years of fingerstyle and classical guitar background it was time to get some of it on a CD. Recording was done with the aim of maintaining a natural acoustic guitar sound, and this should especially appeal to fellow acoustic guitarists. The tunes range from bluesy ragtime pieces to those of a more ballad like nature.

Since listing this CD here I have re-recorded a few songs with a new AD/DA in order to improve the sound and may do so in the future. The CD is over a hour long. As there are a variety of styles played on this CD, I decided all seventeen tunes shoud have clips so you can hear the full range of tunes present

Some notes on a few of the songs:

Blanchard Song: The song was meant to highlight the sustain and sweet tone of the Blancard Bristlecone guitar.

Hair Ball: a story of a cat (and mouse).

Child's Play: my child's antics and guest appearance

Berg's Lament: a musical tribute to Nicholas Berg

The guitar played on these pieces was either a Mark Blanchard Bristlecone or a Collings C10 Deluxe. The microphones were either Microtech Gefell M300s or Neumann TLM 103s
