"Metro Getto" is sophisticated, folky Americana, similar sounding to Iron & Wine or Mark Koselek (Red House Painters, Sun Kil Moon). The song "The Buddy Plan" is based on a true story of 2 high school friends who enlisted under the "Buddy Plan" in Vietnam (allowed to enlist and serve together in that war). "Aurora" is about Highway 99 in Seattle. "Interstate" another highway song was cowritten by Todd Edwards who wrote the words. "The Green Man" also cowritten by Todd Edwards is a song about a guy that is dealing with Hep C,. The last 3 cuts are instrumental soundscapes.
