Details:
Bryan LaMontagne, also known as BL, was born in Salem,
MA. He began his career in music at the age of twelve
as a classical trumpet player. Gifted from the start,
he gained local and national recognition for his
talents as a soloist for national orchestras. After
achieving what he feels was a high point in his
playing, he decided to shift gears and turn his
musical gifts towards singing and songwriting. Since
then, he has studied with vocal coach Mark Baxter,
known for his work with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith,
been invited to attend Donna Wrights Artist
Development Workshop in Orlando Florida, and has been
offered a full paid scholarship to Berklee College of
Music for vocal performance. He competed in the USA
World Showcase in Las Vegas, NV on July 26, 2003,
placing first in the male vocal category out of
approximately 42,000 applicants world wide.

In the summer of 2003, Bryan joined forces with
producer/engineer/songwriter Shawn Moseley to begin
pre-production of his record entitled "2 Hearts." At
the end of an intense and sometimes emotional year, "2
Hearts" was completed. Added bonuses on the record are
a music video and world renowned producer, Rodney
"Cortada" Alejandro. As the associate producer on the
album, Rodney added some great twists to Bryan's work.
In addition, he contributed a few songs of his own.
You'll know Rodney's work from his years spent as
producer/songwriter and programmer with Narada Michael
Walden with such greats as the Temptations, Stevie
Wonder, Sting, Diana Ross, and many others. The final
step for the album was to assure the listeners the
best possible sound, so Bryan went to Senior Master
Engineer, Chris Gehringer, of Sterling Sound, N.Y.C.

Realizing his heart and talent truly lied in the
powerful movement of Reggae and Hip-Hop, Bryan
began production of his second record, in the
Reggae/Hip-Hop Genres. He has been stylistically compared to AKON in the Hip-Hop
Industry, and currently has held the Number 2 spot for 12 weeks on the Billboard charts in the UK with his smash hit âTouch Your Toesâ, Featuring Fat Joe. He has a very powerful team of producers and additional features on this record.

Bryan has been receiving rave reviews and stunning
audiences nationwide with his powerful voice. He has
performed internationally in Jamaica, Aruba and
Canada. The top cats in the Reggae and Hip-Hop
industry have been quoted saying that Bryan's passion
and unique style and sound for music will no doubt
take him to the top.
