DEATHMOBILE is the "house band" on "It's Alive!" an independently produced television show hosted by Professor EmCee Square airing in Pittsburgh, PA every Saturday night @ 10 PM. The show is a trainwreck of comedy, music, and interview segments interspersed within sometimes classic, but mostly crappy, horror & sci fi films. The Professor is joined by Pointy (an annoying demon), Stiffy The Dead Clown (an alcohol-saturated second banana with ADHD and a gift for word play), and Fritz (a cloning experiment gone horribly awry) every week, and is visited by a host of other weird characters on a regular basis. They've developed a rabid & rapidly expanding fan base (The Lifeless) they expect will translate very well into other markets with syndication...

DEATHMOBILE is the brainchild of two long-time friends who wanted to really fling some serious crap at the wall and see if it stuck. Pointy (Doug Appel) and Professor EmCee Square (Mark Menold), both multi-instrumentalists, have been working together off and on for most of their adult lives, and this CD is the first product of that association to make it to the public. Their main goal in producing it has been to incorporate as much of what they enjoy into the music as possible, following in the philosophical footsteps of Frank Zappa, Mr. Bungle, Tool, and other acts who've ignored commercialism for its own sake. It may not be art, but it sure ain't tripe either.
