Dusty Keeler has been playing writing and performing since 1989. It was then that he first hit the streets of his hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia, to busk with a handful of his own songs and a few Neil Young, Bob Dylan and U2 covers.

Drawing inspiration and influence from Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Willie Nelson, Dusty delivers heart felt performances every time.

He recorded three CDs as Dusty Sorbet, releasing two of them on one of Halifax's first independent labels, No Records.

In 2004 the full length Dusty Sorbet - Wanderers Grounds, was nominated for Best Folk/Roots Recording by the Music Industry of Nova Scotia.

In 2005 he formed The Rusty Wheels as his roots rock backing band. After playing around Nova Scotia they released Rain or Shine in 2006. Dusty toured solo across Canada in support of this CD.

In the fall of 2007 he released his first solo acoustic album. Recorded over a couple days with just a guitar and a microphone. It is called Under The Radar and Over The Canyon.
