About Jes Karper
Jes Karper is a rambling blues and folk songwriter and string-plucker. He has been living in Belize, Central America for quite some time now long enough to be considered Belizean anyway, but Iâm originally from Pennsylvania. Jesâ songs speak for his travels and experiences, which have carried him to many amazing, inspiring, and eye-opening places and have led him to encounter many awesome, courageous, interesting, and encouraging people(s). Some of his songs address the filthy systems of big business and other misguided institutions and the many problems which are arising through their facade of democracy. Jes truly knows that art is the greatest tool for achieving freedom from these runaway machines while at the same time healing ourselves and the planet we all live on. Music and songs have also provided Jes with a way to express humor in life experience as well as encouragement to others and contemplation of Life, Love, the Divine, and many perspectives which would be too difficult to communicate to others without the tools of poetry and melody.
