This scripture best describes my enjoyable at times and testimonial life. A life that has been filled with many purifying trials and strength building tribulations and even though sometimes I would become battle weary; the spirit inside me would always pick me back up. My debut project "Just to Bless", was an example of what happens when you allow the spirit to use the secrets of your heart and tranform them into music. Each song was created to carry a particular message for any brother or sister that are going through a storm, just coming out of a one or can see one brewing on the horizon; letting them know that they're not alone in the fight and that there's shelter and comfort in Christ; keep on holding on, be strong, your blessing is right around the corner. During this journey, while observing the Lord orchestrating this project, I was constantly reminded that I'm nothing without Him. Before I would do and say all the right lip service talk, but now my actions speak louder than those words. He gave me songs entitled He Chose, God is Watching, Just a prayer Away and All that I Have, just to name a few, to get my attention and express what message He wanted to get out to all His children. I, excuse me, little oh me could't have done none of this without God; through the battled with kidney stones, the constant attacks against my children, the re-recording of 75 of the songs, all the lonely times when I never was, the search for a new studio near the end and just everyday normal trials, he allowed me to stand firm and proud, knowing that I'm His child. Can't wait for you to hear how far God has brought me and how much He loves me, for this is my story... God bless J. Thomas
