Dan Kaplan is a musician and visual artist.
"These harmonica pieces were often played at the end of a night of drawing and painting. Just like my visual work, these pieces had a time and place,and a life of their own. I realized that if I didn't record them they would be gone, and so I put them down on tape. I am still working this way. Thinking of paintings while I play the harmonica. Composing for the piano while working on a sculpture. In my mind it all mixes together. Maybe someday I can release a CD- 5 Songs and a sculpture"
