Dee Ray is a four-piece band based out of San Diego.

The band's namesake is singer, songwriter and bassist Dee Ray, supported by Johnny Ford on guitars, Sue del Guidice on keyboards and Alan Leasure on drums.

They released their first CD "Right Now" in 2003 following their well received four song demo "97 Live", both recorded at Pineapple Recorders with producer Scott Salyer.

The band weaves high energy, psychobilly electric guitar with hypnotic keyboards and a driving rhytm section to lay the foundation for Dee's soulful lyrics. Their sound has been forged by live performance, which upon first listen delivers hooky melodies that have a habit of lingering in your head long after the song is over.

Their music has been called "indie, original pop" with "spooky guitar" and "haunting lyrics".
