Lillian Overstreet followed in the footsteps of the first women to preach the Gospel as a traveling evangelist, telling congregations about her miraculous healing from near-blindness caused by a fall down stairs as a toddler. Regaining her sight in a college prayer gathering, she determined to dedicate her life to The Lord.

It was during a flight to a religious council meeting that she met Bob Watters, also a minister in the Assemblies of God. At Bob's request, she happily became Lillian Watters. (Later--not on the plane.)

They traveled the U.S., holding revivals in almost every U.S. state, including a summer in pre-Castro Cuba with their then 2-year-old daughter, Dorothy (Dottie Anne).

In the years that followed, they also produced albums. (Remember those?) Then came 8-track and cassette tapes, replaced by CDs that are sold in revival meetings throughout the world. In 1969 the ministry expanded to Europe, and now extends from Africa to India.
