Dehconte's music is a unique collection, inspired by the roots of his African (Liberian) culture, and prolific musical background. His vocal range skillfully incorporates the theads of Jazz, R&B, Reaggae, and spoken word into a rhymically moving collection of songs. His songs are reflective of his honesty, pain,depth and musical influences.
This CD is loaded with hits that can be sprinkled acrossed severel musical genres.His lyrics are sincere; as if he puts the listener to the peephole of his soul or his room door. This Liberian-born musican holds a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. He also holds a MEd.(Masters) in Special Education from Texas Women University in Denton, TX. He currently teaches in the Baltimore City Public Schools system.
Dehconte welcomes all opportunities to share his music.
