TRIP-HOP is a contraction of rhythmical and abstract Hip-Hop, a more experimental version based on peaceful vibes in order to create transcendent emotions. Trip-hop is characterized by overdubbing of voices, instruments and electronic sounds. It came to be in Europe during the Nineties and IRINA's mission is to make it more popular.

IRINA is from Germany and lives in Quebec, Canada since quite a few years. She recorded two previous albums in collaboration with other musiciens and is presently also playing with a Montreal-based Band called NORTHBROOK NINE. IRINA visions her career like a wine that needs to ripen properly if it is to be any good. Her distinctive voice will enchant you. With the help of her guitar, keyboard and computer, she creates her own soundtracks.

She makes a living as a teacher, is busy raising her three children and still finds time for love and music. Today, she offers you a homemade collection of some of her songs with an album simply called - IRINA.

Le trip-hop se caracterise par des pistes superposees, melant voix, instruments et samples electroniques. Le trip-hop est ne en Europe dans les annees '90 et IRINA s'est donne comme mission de le rendre plus populaire.

IRINA est une allemande qui vit au Quebec, Canada, depuis plusieurs annees. Elle a enregistre deux albums en collaboration avec divers musiciens, entre autre avec le groupe NORTHBROOK NINE. IRINA visionne sa carriere comme un bon vin qu'elle laisse murir, les premiers echantillons etant prets pour la degustation par un plus grand public. Le timbre de sa voix unique vous enchantera. Diese Musikrichtung ist gekennzeichnet durch mehrspurige, uebereinandergelegene Stimmen, Instrumente und elektronische Klaenge. Zum Leben kam sie in den neunziger Jahren in Europa und IRINA moechte sie weiterhin bekannt machen und verbreiten.

IRINA lebt seit einigen Jahren in Quebec, Kanada, wo sie in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Musikern zwei Alben aufgenommen hat. Zur Zeit tritt sie auch mit NORTHBROOK NINE, einer Gruppe aus Montreal auf. Ihre Karriere vollzieht IRINA wie eine Weinproduktion; Geduld und Zeit sind wichtige Zutaten um den richtigen Klang zu finden. IRINA's klare Stimme hat schon viele bezaubert. Weiterhin arbeitet sie als Lehrerin, kuemmert sich um ihre drei Kinder und findet immer wieder Zeit zum Komponieren, Singen und Liebhaben. Heute bietet sie ihnen eine hausgemachte Sammlung einiger ihrer Lieder an und zwar mit einem Album ganz einfach genannt - IRINA.
