Nate West, a native of Youngstown, Ohio. Without any formal training, began playing bass guitar at age 9 and saxophone at the age of 11.

In 1992, Nate was called to the music ministry as a saxophonist. He joined the church band, where he learned worship concepts, developed skill and technique, while cultivating a prophetic sensitivity. Through the development of his gift, and by the grace of God, he has acquired the ability to play Gospel, Jazz, inspirational, and prophetic songs with an anointing.

His depiction of an instrumental worshipper has been demonstrated, not only in the states, but also in other countries such as Canada, Europe, and Africa. In addition to serving in the Celebration Arts Ministry of Hope Christian Church in Maryland, Nate has opened for several renowned gospel artists namely, Andre Crouch, Walter Hawkins, Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ, Kim Rutherford, Ben Tankard, Marvin Winans and the Perfected Praise Choir. Nate has also shared the stage with Smooth Jazz Grammy Award Winner, Najee. Currently, Nate is touring with 2005 Urban Alliance Award Winner, Vocalist/Pianist Kim Jordan.
