These new ones are of the same high quality as the game's original tracks, and do a masterful job of putting the player in a tropical mood. This reviewer would certainly buy it and play it at his next BBQ party - it's that festive and good.â

"If you don't start dancing while playing Tropico, one must seriously have no beat. PopTop Software has aligned a beautifully assembled score of "Caribbean Folk" (you could call it thousands of things) music. It matches the aura Tropico emits and really brings the island to life without any repetition. There are even lyrics in these songs, which actually caused me to bust out some of my great singing during my dictator regime. (No dancing occurred during this game's duration) Poptop Software has deftly captured the emotions surrounding Tropico and installed it into a great soundtrack."

"The music deserves a separate paragraph. I am no fan of Latin music, I'll admit that - but the music in Tropico has made me reconsider that. As soon as I heard the opening tune, I said to myself, "Heyâ¦that's not bad at all!". As I progressed through the game, I found myself nodding along with the rhythm, without even noticing it! Kudos to Daniel Indart, the person responsible for the game's soundtrack, for such an amazing job."
âOne feature that has been a plus in both the original and the expansion pack is the award-winning musical score provided by The Daniel Indart Project throughout the game. Numerous game sites and organizations named the original Tropico's music the best in-game music of 2001's PC titles for good reason. The Latin-inspired tunes are again the perfect match in Tropico: Paradise Island for your many hours of gameplay. The full amount of music provided for the expansion pack now totals over two hours, and you'll still be humming the soundtrack melodies long after you have turned off your PC.â

âA soundtrack that I wouldn't mind owning on its own along with great in game effects. This expansion improves on all aspects of the game from basic mechanics to the soundtrack. The soundtrack has been greatly extended offering over two hours of island melodies.â

âPlayers of Tropico will be pleased to learn that the game's excellent soundtrack has been expanded to include several new tunes. These new ones are of the same high quality as the game's original tracks, and do a masterful job of putting the player in a tropical mood. Heck, if the soundtrack was available on CD, this reviewer would certainly buy it and play it at his next BBQ party - it's that festive and good.â
