New Group, New Artistâ Ronald Phillips & New Vision
Ronald Phillips He is a native of a small town Millsboro Delaware âMt Joyâ Were he grew up and attended St. John Baptist Church and sang with the Jr. Busy Bee Church Choir. He has never sang or played any thing except gospel. He came from a very talented family of musicians. His Father was saxophone player who form a band called Chuck Crawford and the Rocking Robins and played night clubs in Baltimore Maryland.

It is unknown if any of them recorded anything so Ronald felt in his heart to break the barrier and lay tracks. This is his third album the first he just sold locally. His first live performance was when he played drums for the AME Mass Choir in 1981. Ronald takes his inspiration from several recording artist Norman Hutchins, whom went High School with and worked with at a very young age. He has been in the presence of recording artist Donna Ritchie Johnson and Apostle Kimberly Daniels who inspired him. As he developed his love for recording and learning how to compose each album got better, he decided to go all the way with one. Their new CD entitled "Fresh" is already changing lives with its unique anointed sound.

Ronald was Ordained Apostle in 2003. New Vision's leader, Apostle Ronald Phillips, started as a one man band. Playing the drums, bass guitar and electric guitar, all of which self taught. As a Praise Team Leader he opened up many anointed church services. Apostle Phillips married his sweet heart in 1987 and with her strong soprano voice they began singing duets. Later, others joined in and Ronald Phillips & New Vision was established.

Ronald Phillips & New Vision's sound is different from any other, and their songs are written from prophetic worship, praise, brokenness and their own life experiences. Favorite songs among listeners are "Fresh", "War", "God Gave Me", "You're The Lord", "God Is Worthy", and "Not By Power

Since it's formation in 1997, the group has traveled extensively throughout the east coast. Receiving rave reviews from their listeners, on their unique sound, and deliverance apostolic anointing. Truly led and anointed by the power of the Holy Spirit, souls continue to be awakened, blessed, delivered and saved by these gifted singers.

He has been married twenty years to Dedra Brock a native of Greenville, SC they have been blessed with of five children. Ronald has an older daughter Crystal Johnson who is inspired to write song lyrics.
The song Deliverance was written to a Divorcee in our ministry the first Sunday we sang it she broke down in tears, not knowing the words were writing for her.
God has given them to reach this seasoned harvest for the Kingdom. It's their time to shine as God shines through them with this unique anointed sound "Fresh".
