Meet the White-Hot Tizzies, a Milwaukee-based guitar/drums duo that delivers in spades. Armed with a catalogue of over 35 top-notch original tunes, the Tizzies have forged a sound that is mean, lean and irresistible. Think the Kinks cross-pollinated with the Stooges, Cheap Trick and Ramones and you're in the ballpark. It shouldn't work, but it does.

Their five song debut, "Stash", now out on Easter Records, features the pop splendor of some of Milwaukee's most heralded players. The musicianship is crack, but it's the songs that shine through. Drummer/singer Rob McCuen (ex-Plasticland, ex-Liquid Pink, ex-Rob McCuen and the Ruins, ex-you-name-it) is a songwriter capable of tackling an array of emotions and subjects without ever resorting to rock clichés and his voice cuts straight to the heart.
