Another mixed-bag for this album of all instrumental compositions. Somewhat avant-garde, for lack of a better title you can file this under Progressive rock/Americana. The tunes will be easy to digest for the average listener even those who don't normally listen to instrumental music. A wide array of influences here everything from: Mike Oldfield (JOURNEY; POEM /THE MAN); Pat Metheny(NEW DAY);Frank Zappa/Jeff Beck (EARTHJAZZBLUES); Motown meets the Stones meets the guitar antics of Stooge Ron Asheton, circa 1969(NY SLIDE);a lo-fi tribute to Led Zeppelin (LAND OF ZEP')and much more to satisfy your musical palette. Something for everyone...

"Days To Remember is an instrumental release that's a collection of everything from jazz, classical, and folk to rock styles of music. The first couple of tracks where just a little to mellow for me. For the most part they feature melodic repetitive chords being played either on the keyboard or guitar. That all changed though once track 5, "Earthjazzblues" rolled around.

"Earthjazzblues" is a 9-minutes musical explosion that mixes steady percussion and a mixture of jazz and blues/rock guitar parts. The band says that the song is a tribute to Frank Zappa/ Jeff Beck. This song is very entertaining and really rips it out for the entire 9-minutes that went by too fast.

The next several tracks also take the more up-tempo approach. Track-6 "NY Slide," is filled with funky fast driving rhythmic beats along with track-7 "World Passin' On Blues."

Track-8 "Land of Zep'," is a low-fi tribute to the legendary band Led Zeppelin. The guitar parts though reminded more of the acid playing style of Jimi Hendrix.

While the first several tracks were a little too melodic in tone for my personal taste, the music found from track-5 on more then made up for it. If you like the more melodic song flow then enjoy Days To Remember right from track-1 otherwise hang in there until track-5 hits and enjoy the musical ride from that point on."-C.W. Ross/NOV. 2007
