Wishnefsky founded the alternative band Jabberwock in the early 90s. He was the primary songwriter and lead vocalist. He plays guitar, bass, and keyboards.

After Jabberwock broke up in 1997, Wishnefsky took a break from the rigors of the music business in order to focus on the rigors of parenthood and recapturing what was left of his sanity.

Along the way, he continued to write and record a plethora of material.

By the millenium, he had moved his home studio from the world of analog to the universe of digital. That culminated in the Wishnefsky solo effort, USE YOUR WORDS, which Lost Dog Records proudly unleashes on your unsuspecting ears.

USE YOUR WORDS picks up where Jabberwock left off and heads in a more electronic based direction. But itâs still alternative rock with intelligent and poetic lyrics, inventive arrangements, passionate and powerful performances, and a creative spark or two.

Wishnefsky also fronts the band VENEER, the vehicle for his piano based music.
