Zeus originated from Langley, B.C. and picked up his dads guitar at a very young age of (roughly) seven and started strumming like mad. His parents then thought it would be good for their son to have him learn the basics through classical guitar lesson at Langley Community Music School. Besides, his dad didn..t want to have a bigger scratch on his guitar. Five and a half years later. Zeus thought it was time to leave guitar lessons to focus on his own musical ideologies...Hoping to play guitar for concert band at high school his hopes were crushed but not perished when he found out there was percussion and bass to learn. So from grade eight to twelve, Zeus constantly learned and progressed (thanks to an awesome music teacher) through high schools many music programs. Graduating with honors and receiving the "Top graduating music student" award, he was eager to work on his own musical compositions full time. Now that high school is done, his musical ideologies are becoming more apparent to him both musically and lyrically as he tries to introduce to the lower mainland a new wave of music called "Lafonk" (a mixture of punk rock and Latin beats) mixed with catchy melodies of folk and jazz. Graduating from high school just this last summer of 2006, he has recorded his first official CD and sold them at festivals and coffee houses around the lower mainland within 6 months. Zeus has tasted the touring life when he was with the band in high school. He now hopes to tour again soon introducing this new wave of musical genre.
