Die Pretty a 3-piece band from Camden, London have a lot more to offer to a 21st century audience than the all-too-familiar waves of indie music coming out of all four corners of the UK (Not to mention the rest of the western market) and with their live shows you will enjoy the whole package of music and futuristic lighting as an essential part of their longing to take you right into the future - through the door that most bands are still afraid to open.

The music of Die Pretty has been evolving since they formed three years ago from a sort of sleaze/industrial mix with a strong influence from the likes of Iggy and the Stooges, The Pixies and Jesus and Mary Chain to the current pumping Cyber Punk tunes which sound like a better version of the Prodigy with robotic sounds pioneered by Kraftwerk in the 70's.

Recent songs like NRG and Nitro are the perfect example of music of our time - they express a kind of neurosis which is caused by modern life, the state of our political system, invisible red- tape which surrounds everyone's lives etc. but they are essentially excellent dance tunes which make positive vibes out of negative ones and they are up-lifting because they are saying 'we can move forward from all this as long as we have some neon-love and understanding'.

The band has just finished their first tour outside of the UK to promote their latest album Nitro. They have just blitzed the hi-tech neon lit city of Tokyo. The future is out there, the future is Die Pretty.

THE BAND
Zardos - A native Moscovite and dedicated disciple of futurism, has a fetish-obsession with nanotechnology. Can be most easily located in underground labs conducting evil mind manipulation experiments with heavy use of former Soviet military machinery. Current project is "How much abuse can the brain take under the condition of projected shockwaves". Other hobbies include erasing people's hard drives without prior consent and keen UFO spotter.

RW2 - Originally from the shores of New Zealand and a self proclaimed pleasuroid, is a master corruptor of low frequencies and other assorted species all within the confines of the law of 2054. Can be found late at night using extensive sub bass techniques to lure his prey. He is currently working on the theory that there is a perfect pitch of seduction. He is yet to attain this but has stated he is making steady progress. Other hobbies include: bird watching and globe trotting via time travel.

Psi-Borg - Origin, age, gender and species unknown. (Most likely to have descended from Neptune), although self claims to be from East London. This creature is the master evil behind Die Pretty. Is attracted to neon and UV and has never been seen in daylight as over exposure to the sun will cause the core meltdown of it's being. Current activities include assembling an army of soft toys and reading encyclopaedias.
