Description:
INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE. A QuickTime video tutorial focusing on Ray Charles's soul hit of 1959, "What'd I Say," adapted for blues harmonica by Adam Gussow of Satan and Adam. Technical challenges include tongue-blocking and some tricky swing-timing inside the rock beat, along with 2, 3, and 4 draw bends. If you're familiar with basic tongue-blocked styles (Chicago, West Coast, etc.), this will offer you a new and original approach.
