A creamy blend of the melodious dark punk music that you and your friends discovered as you grew distant from the oh so conforming sounds of mainstream pop.
11 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Punk, POP: Power Pop
Show all album songs: The Modern Day Songs
Details:
The Modern Day reflects the many influences of BomberMan Awesome. With songs ranging from metal-punk-rockabilly to pop-comedy, there is something for almost everybody. The album as a whole can be described as âthe soundtrack to a goodtime.â
When BomberMan Awesome decided to record The Modern Day, in late 2002, they all agreed they would like the album to reflect the bandâs personality. They wanted to capture the energy and charisma of their live show and believed they could do so by including a few tracks that were more âlive songsâ than âalbum songs.â Fans took kindly to their style of genre-jumping and the album was a success.
After promoting the album for several months, BomberMan Awesome met up with Aver Ingenuity and shot a music video for Me Rock You. The video captures the ridiculousness of the song, and is done in such a fashion that it makes the viewer wonder, âWhy didnât these guys go Glam?â The video can be watched for free at www.averingenuity.com.
If you enjoy The Modern Day, please check out BomberMan Awesomeâs second full-lenth release, Fantastica, and keep an eye out for their upcoming release on Recordland Records in early 2007!
