Details:
Hendecatope is the one man electronica project of Andrew Robbins.
Andrew is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan and has now been living in the Raleigh-Durham area since 1997.
Andrew is a classically trained french horn player with a Masterâs Degree in music performance from the University of Arizona. Andrew also studied composition and improvisation while in college. Before taking up the horn, Andrew also studied piano.
After college, Andrew decided to return to his original instrument, the piano to begin composing and performing on synthesizers and drum machines.
Always having had a love for synthesizers and electronic sounds, Andrew quickly gravitated to the electronica genre and enjoys the freedom that sonic palate of electronic music provides.
His music is forward thinking ambient and experimental electronica. His sound demands the attention of the active listener and beckons the casual and new listener to pay closer attention.
