"All She's Got" is the fifth CD released by Bicichica Productions, a recording project managed by Iowa musicians Irene Schroeder and Joe Rebik of The Mad River Band. Their website is www.themadriverband.com.

On this album the songs were composed by Schroeder/Rebik in 2007 with genres ranging from folk to jazz to groovy blues. Each song features Irene Schroeder on lead vocals, Joe Rebik on guitar and drums and Mark Urness on double bass. Irene also solos on jazz clarinet and plays some bicycle bells, while Joe solos on guitar and vibraphone. Lyrically, the songs reflect the human struggle of love, loss, reflection and forgiveness.

Irene and Joe have been playing together for seven years in Iowa City and Vermont, both as a duo, with The Mad River Band, with Grace and Beauty Ragtime and JR's Blues Band.

Irene Schroeder has always loved the tambre of the clarinet and the feel of folk music. Named after the famous "Good Night, Irene" song, Irene made a promise to herself at a young age to re-invent the clarinet for modern popular folk music. She received her BM in clarinet performance from the University of Iowa in 1993 with honors while studying jazz and Environamental Engineering. She then bicycled self-contained with her clarinet for 20,000 miles from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego. Her clarinetting reflects her classical and jazz training, while ber song-writing reflects her love of nature and bicycling. She is currently the head instructor of bicycle touring classes for Touch the Earth at the University of Iowa as well as a private piano, guitar and clarinet teacher... and has her own bicycle consultation company called Bicycle Happiness. She plays all the clarinets as well as accoustic guitar.

Joe Rebik has been playing music most of his life, starting on drums at an early age, playing with country and rock bands as a teenager, finally picking up the guitar at age sixteen. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BM in Percussion, from Northwestern University at Evanston, Il., with a MM in Percussion. When in Evanston, he met Rockin' Johnny Burgin, a Chicago blues guitarist, who helped to formulate Joe's blues guitar style. Currently, Joe teaches privately, with students in guitar, drums and percussion.

Irene and Joe often ride bicycles to their shows, pulling some 200 pounds of musical equipment in trailers. Fun!
