Based in Myrtle Beach, SC, since 1996, Latitude, the husband/wife duo of Tom and Michelle Becker, has been keeping the music flowing and the conga line going with a style of music they call, "Island Attitude"--a mix of beach, dance and party music that will make even a toe tapper want to join the conga line!

Latitude performs an average of 200 shows a year, and has toured much of the US, including Hawaii, the Caribbean and Europe. They have played on a train in Nashville, a yacht in Boca Raton, at an altitude of 10,000'in the Colorado Rockies, and at sea level aboard a cruise ship. In January, 2002, Latitude became the first beach music act to perform in Switzerland.

Tom Becker (Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Harmonica, Vocals) Tom Becker got his start as a member of the New Christy Minstrels and later opened for such artists as Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Jerry Lee Lewis and Ray Charles, and has shared the stage with Gregg Allman.

Michelle Becker (Keyboard, Vocals) Michelle Becker cut her teeth as a backup singer for Brenda Lee and Louise Mandrell, has shared the stage with Motown's Coasters, Drifters, and Platters, Country music's Lee Greenwood, and Larry Gatlin, and comedian Bill Cosby. She has appeared on the legendary Grand Ole Opry, and has logged thousands of hours as a studio session and jingle singer.

The pair met as songwriters in Nashville, TN, and discovered the unique chemistry that led to love--and the creation of Latitude!
