For years, her God given talent has allowed her to bless a wide and vast audience. As an anointed singer, songwriter, actress and composer, Robin has performed in the plays, âMomma I want to Singâ, âGospel at Colonus with the Five Blind Boys of Alabama and Clarence Fountain, âSing Out Sweet Gospelâ, âGraffiti Blues by Bob Dylanâ, âThe Many Faces of Robin Hodge-Williamsâ and âSomebody Ought to Tell God Thank Youâ featuring Vicki Winans.
Robin has been privileged to perform with noted greats, Lawrence Matthews, Shirley Caesar, Daryl Cooley and the Hawkins Family. She has also graced the stage with Patti LaBelle, Kim Burrell and numerous others.

With two CD releases under her belt, âShow Meâ and âAnointed Meâ Robin has delivered the hits, âShow Meâ, âLord We Praise Youâ, âTell Itâ, âHeâs Got Everything You Needâ, âKeeperâ and âMore Than Anything.â She has also been featured in several projects including: Lawrence Matthews and Friendsâ âSavior Do Not Pass Me Byâ, Greater Temple Church of God in Christ as the composer and lead vocalist of âSavedâ Berean Christian Fellowship the Well Watered Project singing âNow Unto Himâ, and Edwin Hawkinsâ Music and Arts Seminar Project singing âJesus Loves Meâ. In 2003 she recorded with Peniel Full Gospel Baptist Church in El Sobrante, California, and with Pastor Javen of Tampa, Florida.

Robin is the daughter of Rev. Ernest and Missionary Ruth Hodge. As loving parents, they instilled very strong morals and Christian roots into her. At a very young age, Robin traveled the Bay Area and performed with her parents and sister. At the age of 8, she began playing the piano by ear. Robin organized gospel choirs at Oakland High School and Merritt College while attending these educational facilities. As a result, she was hired at each schoolâs music department. Soon several Bay Area churches sought out her talents. Robin was hired as the Minister of Music by Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and Israelite Missionary Baptist Church.Robin Served as Minter of Music at Berean Christian Fellowship San Francisco with Bishop James Dean Adams and Min of Music at Trinity Fellowship in Houston Texas. Her ministry has evolved to include Ministry of Praise and Worship. Robin is presently serving as the Minister of Music at Cosmopolitan Baptist Church in Oakland, California.

Robin has received the âBest Female Vocalist of the Yearâ award from the Bay Area Gospel Academy Awards twice. Billboard Magazine recognized her in August 2000 as one of Gospelâs âHottest New Upcoming Artists.â In 2002, Robin was featured on television networkâs âBobby Jones Gospel Hour!â. And in 2004, Robin became the musical director and featured artist of the play âBlack Nativityâ at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre in San Francisco. .

Robin has completed her third recording âPurpose.â This project features such notable songs as, âCelebrate Jesusâ, âPresence of the Kingâ, âThatâs Who He Really Isâ and âHeaven is a Wonderful Place.â She has a diverse selection of songs currently being mixed by noted Bay Area producer Michael J. Witwer with additional production by David Jackson.

Robin is aware that she is on a mission that shall be accomplished. That is: to spread the Joy and Love of God to all through her music and ministry. And, through the will of Jesus, Robin knows her mission will not be defeated!
