"Sounds of Drunk n' Stupid come pouring out of the bar like Jack on tap and you know within seconds that it's going to be a good night of drinking.

It's readily apparent that the genetic material of the Ramones, Green Day, Social Distortion, the Beat Farmers and Junior Brown have been recombined in a twisted way which is made even stranger by the fact that these lads are barely out of high school. (They must have been on the 12 year plan!) Their brand of Drunk Rock has even the newly indoctrinated of all ages singing along as if they were in church. In effect, they are. It's the church of the drunk and dejected, the dumped and addicted and they're not afraid to sing/talk/shout about it.

The head preacher on guitar and lead vocals is Richard Syphilis (his first band). More rhythm and less weight than your standard white boy has a right to, he can actually play AND move at the same time. The other guy in front is taking up all of the room behind them on drums and lead vocals is Billy Bigstick (Peace Corp., Kickball, Swingin' Tikis). Raised on a steady diet of pizza, pasta, Keith Moon and Charlie Watts, he pounds and sweats for hours on end - usually on tempo but always on top. Bass guitar duties fall on whoever is sober enough to show up and start the gig, 'cause nobody is ever sober at the end of one.

They're here to rock and drink everything brought and bought for them on stage. They come across on the very basest of levels. Calling them sophomoric would be too complimentary (Is "freshmanic" a word?). They're just stoked to be in places that the law will preclude them from being in for another few years and living up to their name but you wouldn't want it any other way. Anybody who leaves without a smile is drunker and stupider than allowed by law in 48 states."
