AUTOBIOGRAPHY
I got the name Blowout initially from my hair in the early nineties but it then became a perfect description of how I am as an artist. Walking around the majority of the time as a humble, quiet dude but when on stage, I get the burst of energy and rush from what I love to do. Whether on the set ir rocking the mic, there is no better feeling!
I started as a DJ then began writing and producing for myself and other up and coming artists. My peoples and I formed a crew named Turntable Anihilists that now is name familiar across the world. We tour, rock shows, put out mixtapes and albums and do it mainly for the love because nowadays it's hard to make it a living.
I worked with many artists but just to name a few off the top- Maya Azucena, Ronny Jordan, Non Phixion, Jean Grae & Pete Miser. I toured across the US and been overseas doing my thing as a DJ/Emcee. I plan to produce for alot more artists and continue putting out genuine Hip Hop.
Alot of what is in my music as a lyricist comes from being a barber for over 14 years. This environment allows me to live through the "people", seeing and hearing what goes on. Although I am an Emcee, when i'm not recording or performing, I am mostly listening to life, which inspires the creativity in my craft.
I don't necessarily want to be famous but I love when my music gets to more and more people. It feels good when someone else feels good listening to what I've created.
