Q: Tell me about yourself.
A: My name is Brad Hoover; I'm from and live in Tacoma Washington.

Q: How long have you been composing music?
A: I started playing piano in the 70's and composing soon after that because I was having a very hard time reading sheet music. Most of the tracks on 'Professional Sounds' were songs that I wrote years ago on my Yamaha Baby Grand, but finally composed within the last two years on my KORG.

Q: Who has inspired you as a musician?
A: Hmmm that's a tough one. I'd say Manheim Steamroller, Fresh Aire series in particular. Definitely the Art of Noise, Vangelis, Brian Wilson and select favorites from the 70's-80's synth music era.

Q: What was the motivation behind 'Professional Sounds'?
A: I really wanted something available to professionals who are trying to personalize their office and practice. 'Professional Sounds' was designed with that in mind. It's supposed to be a fresh and unique alternative to the typical music one listens to in any given waiting room where a relaxing but thoughtful atmosphere needs to be maintained.

Q: Can tracks from 'Professional Sounds' be heard elsewhere?
A: Yes. 'Professional Sounds' is a compilation of moderately paced songs that can also be found on 'Collections I' and '3 Sisters.'
