Way south of the globe, home to the best beef you can dagger your teeth to, on the Pampa plains, Christopher Chapman brings you a handful of some of the best melodies you have ever heard on well nurtured pop and ballads. Born in Argentina to British parents, this ex securities trader at day time and pop band front man to many bands in Buenos Aires and London, lives in the middle of nowhere in the vast grasslands, where he records and performs his own songs, embracing some of the best melodies youâll ever listen to. It may sound strange to hear such a name in this part of the world, but Chris, has traversed his life making music, leading different bands in Argentina as in the UK, and has finally come to his lifetime project of making his solo records. Inspired and taking advantage of the use of technology, he has come up with his first recollection of songs on BLOW, all woven in his backyard laptop studio, well set in the country of rural area Los Cardales, some 40 miles from Buenos Aires, capital to Argentina, were he and his family have retired to since ten years ago, away from the buzz of the big city, to enjoy the freshness of country air.

"My professional life has equated between my jobs in the securities markets as a trader and broker and the world of music, yet with the advent of Protools, Reason and other technologies some years ago I decided it was time to start working and recording on many melodies and songs I had, many lost in old tapes and most in my memory. Therefore firstly I decided to start learning and testing out these technologies on my laptop, which took a considerable amount of time, mainly because I did not have any formal instruction on sound and recording. Trial and error and the odd phone call to friends who spared some of there time to give me a hand with this. Most of the recordings were done early in the morning, practically with my slippers on and a hot mug of coffee at hand. My studio, which I humbly call studio is a small chapel looking building about a hundred meters away from our main house, surrounded by horse pickets, where I can drift away as well as the occasional jamming get-together. I love mornings; I find them the best moment for creation and work, when my mind is fresh and crisp as the frosty grass in winter. Of course one must go to beddy niceân early for this! Most of the time, living out in the country, one can achieve this. For my first album BLOW, I occasionally got a helping hand by friend drummers (check credits), and all other as composition, guitars, bass, keyboards and singing done by myself. I am at present working on a second and third record to be finished soon and on the web, so stay tuned!! I hope to see ya soon!
