Nick Gordon is one of those rare musical talents. Nick is an outstanding songwriter, a great singer and a hot guitar player, a true triple threat. Nick has worked with some big names in the music industry including the recording of a demo track with Gerry Goffin, (co-writer of âOne Fine Dayâ, âUp on the Roofâ, âSaving All My Love for Youâ), and Barry Goldberg, (Electric Flag, Chicago Blues Reunion) in 2006. Goldberg, who has performed with and produced Bob Dylan and founded the Goldberg/Miller Blues Band with Steve Miller in the 60âs, described the CD as âGreat songs, Great blues, Great voiceâ. âChronic Blues Partyâ is set for National release on Swingsuit Records October 20, 2007 with a fall and spring tour slated to promote the release.

âChronic Blues Partyâ is loaded with musical and lyrical hooks, while delivering some of the hottest solo work on guitar, blues harp, and keyboards. Hellhounds and Letâs Make a Deal are traditional blues arrangements, while still sounding exciting and fresh. Tapcity, Roll This Joint and Bluesman, are blues with rock and pop influences making them edgy and appealing while also delivering smokinâ hot solos. Other tracts on the CD are a mix of rock and ballads, including âBaltimoreâ which became a #1 hit in Australia.

Nick is currently working with Goldberg on songs for his follow-up CD due for release in summer of 2008. Roby Duron is Nickâs âmusical brotherâ, co-producer, engineer, and lead guitarist on the CD. Roby might well be the best undiscovered blues rock guitarist in the country. He literally ignites the album with his playing, and his influence can be heard throughout the entire CD. Roby was a top 8 finalist in Guitar Centerâs Guitarmageddon 2005 contest.

Tom (T-Bone Steak) Molinelli is one of the hottest up and coming blues harp players around. He counts Rod Piazza and John Juke Logan as friends and admirers of his talent. T-Bone easily straddles William Clark and Rod Piazza style blues while whipping through the fast high-octave playing ala John Popper. Popper Complimented T-Bone over the phone after hearing his work on the CD.

Rick Reed plays bass on all the tracts except Baltimore. Rick is one of the most sought after bass players around, who began his career performing with Paul Butterfield and continues to perform and record with countless legends. Nick recorded the CD at Reedâs Blues Bunker in Van Nuys, CA

Jon Greathouse heats up the CD with his first rate Hammond B-3 playing, piano and clavinet. Jon is a music school graduate and composer and has recorded and performed with many musical legends and has scored several movies.

Ruben Duarteâ Jr. provides his impeccable drumming skills throughout the CD. Heâs always in the pocket and his drumming is beautifully musical. Ruben has toured and recorded with Tito Jackson.
