Singer/songwriter Paul Gibbs has been gifted and called by God to use his gifts to further the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world. Whether he's singing and leading traditional hymns, southern Gospel or contemporary praise/prayer songs, every song has a message: that God loves us! Songs of hope, songs of praise, songs that touch the heart of each listener in many ways through the Holy Spirit. Paul says, "I sing because the world needs Jesus!". "This Is Christmas" is Paul's seventh CD album. Background vocals were beautifully done by Linda Lefurgey, Joyce Huntley, Sue Evans, Kenny T, Jessica Gibbs, Todd Andrews, Eileen Hannay, and Sue Pidgeon. Peg Brady provided her talents on the flute, while "Kenny T" is featured along with Paul on "Mary Did You Know?", and also provided additional guitars. And as on Paul's previous albums, Paul's daughter Jessica is featured on several songs. As you listen to the songs on this CD, may you be blessed by the music and words, and reminded once again of the reason we celebrate Christmas - Jesus, our Savior!
