This Album for the very first time shows Johnny and His Southside Jukes in all their dimensions while remaining Right in the middle of 1949 to 1952 Roots pocket! Each and Every Track Stands Out and Includes some of the groups Favorites from the Long Gone Era that has its main thrust around 1952! The Record Presents The true spirit of Little Walter, James Harmon, Goree Carter, The Spiders, Chuck Carbo, Wynonie Harris, Elmore James, Freddie Roulette, Sonny Boy Williamson II and of Course John Lee Williamsons Southside Jukes, All tracks were recorded down South at Pinetone Studios years ago with the idea of Capturing that Original Modern Records Bahari sound out of HOLLYWOOD in 1952 to 1955 at the very "Dawn Of Blues & Rhythm". Music like you would hear on Johnny Otis' Radio & TV show or at The Club Zanzibar, Barrell House, Five Four Ballroom, Shrine Auditorium and Hollywood Paladium with Old HH, Hunter Hancock, Dick Hugg, Huggie Boy, Magnificant Montague, Duke Henderson, Al Jarvis, Central Ave. and Art Laboe!
