Claudio Valente is songwriter and a singer.

New wave, alternative rock and italian pop music are the different styles which influence his songwriting. He started as the singer of electro-pop/new wave italian band ART DECO : they recorded 3 Ep's for the Venetian labels Art Retrò Ideas and then for Modern MusicProductions. Then Claudio founded the
Circle, an italian rock band and he started writing songs in italian language: the Circle won the Vinile Rock Contest, then the best famous Arezzo Wave Love Festival and a French festival in Beaune, Open du Rock.

After that, Telegram is the name of the last band Claudio Valente was with, which released a self titled cd in 2005 for High Tide Records (Venice) and a videoclip.
Throughout 2005, after the first show-case at Musicacontinua (in Venice), the Telegram also played at the Radio Sherwood Festival (Padua), Voci per la Libertà Festival (Rovigo) at Venice Rock Festival and at Festivalband in Turin.

At the beginning of 2006 Claudio valente decided to start a new solo career, he says:" I felt like having a new complete control of my next music direction, without the ties and the compromises which are inevitable in a band. I wanted to write songs which look (sound!) like me as most as possible and so I buyed myself a Mac laptop to prepare my new demos. At the moment, I am working at a solo album, and STUPEFATTA(STUPESTAR) is the first realease from my next outcoming album.
These new songs are going to be pop and rock with electric and acoustic guitars, but also with the help of disturbing electronic devices. Rock'n' roll, new wave, italian pop, glam rock...these have always been the substrate of my musical inspiration, so caring ears can find all of these influences in my songs"
