Formerly with the popular La Crosse Wisconsin area variety band âMidwest Coastâ, gifted musician, singer and songwriter Dana Tock is taking a leap of faith into her true calling for Christ. With more than 100 original inspired songs to choose from, Dana has just released her first solo CD project âLeap of Faithâ and plans to continue to minister in music with her originals and praise and worship songs. Dana has been writing, performing and recording Contemporary Christian music since 1991. She organized the contemporary Christian group âProvidenceâ. In that seven member group she sang, played keyboard, guitar and was the primary songwriter. âProvidenceâ performed only original Christian music and recorded a 9 song demo album. As a member of the Sparta United Methodist Church in Wisconsin, Dana is a music leader for the contemporary worship service called "Open Arms". Her real heart for the Lord and experience with leading have been an important part of the Sparta United Methodist Church contemporary worship team for 6+ years. She is also currently a member of a Christian group called âGFQâ (Good Friday Quartet). âGFQâ plays original and praise & worship songs and for the last few years has been ministering in music at many locations in Wisconsin. Tight harmonies and variety of instrumentation are the signatures of âGFQâ. Another Christian group that Dana is involved with is âUnited in Praiseâ, a group made up of singers and musicians from several different denominations in the La Crosse / Sparta WI area.
