Organic Electric is the debut EP from Australian performer DaveJ...and his unique sound is catching on fast!

His track 'Minor Madness' was recently judged worthy of a place in the top 10 tracks in the Electronic/Dance category in the 2007 Q Song Awards.

The moment DaveJ watched an interview with Rolf Harris about playing didjeridoo and circular breathing almost 16 years ago, he knew his life would change!

From these early beginnings on the north coast of NSW, DaveJ set off to explore the world, discovering dance music in his travels to Amsterdam, the UK & Ibiza.

DaveJ is now based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, creating his own unique blend of music by combining one of the oldest instruments in the world, the didjeridoo, with cutting edge audio technology.

DaveJ uses a couple of nifty inventions created by legendary Australian didjeridoo artist Charlie McMahon.

Face Bass - An amazing piece of technology that sits inside the mouth and uses a seismic sensor to pick up the vibrations from the didjeridoo, face & vocal chords.

Didjeriboneâ¢- This is a PVC slide didjeridoo that can be used to play rhythms, riffs and melodies in up to 10 keys...the name comes from a combination of Didjeri - from didjeridoo - and bone - from trombone.

One of the features of DaveJâs music is that it is all created live and in the moment - no pre-recorded loops or drum machines are used.
