Disgized es Fog is a multi-media performance group.
It supports the complete array of talents and crafts that each member in this artisan community is capable of expressing. This Jefferson Airplane meets The Fugees musical show, infuses the members influences from early jazz, the jam bands of the 60âs and 70âs, to hip-hop and beyond, producing groovinâ rock that connects with people of all ages and musical tastes.

The dual fronted Vaudevillian band brings the circus with them by incorporating everything from fire, belly to eclectic dance, and art. Their shows have gained a following in the Bourgeois of Hollywood to the hippies in Venice, gathering all types together to ROCK. Fans of D.E.F pack the venues ready to sing and dance to the bassy driven beats produced by D.E.Fâs eclectic taste.

The backbone of D.E.F â¦three individuals responsible for the music: Alixcia âMs. Moxieâ (singer/writer/musician/dancer/designer) Rod âRaw Dukesâ (singer/writer/ guitarist/drummer) and David Spector (drummer/ writer /guitarist/producer) are responsible for the Rock/Hip-Hop/Soul/R&B/Folk sound. Forming the core of the D.E.F community, these three individuals connect as musical and artistic soul mates. The fluid flow of art and music created by these three companions insures that they are destined to make their dreams come true.

Alixcia (lead singer/dancer), classically trained in music and dance, has been in the scene for over a decade. Much of her experience can be credited to her 3 album, 4 year dedication as the front girl in Omahaâs own BEEBE. She brings the heat with her power house vocals having been compared to the greats like Billy and Janis while belly dancing to the organic beats. But this girl wouldnât have anything to work with if it wasnât for Rodâs (lead singer, guitarist, percussion) catchy guitar riffs and sexy, sultry voice. You can hear the blues of Jimmie, the rock of Led Zepplin, and the soul of the Grateful Dead in his voice and guitar playing. His energy is uncanny and his voice will leave you wanting more. Rodâs feel for music is from the soul. One of the most natural connections with music ever to experience is with him.

David, Rodâs long time Friend has been creating and playing music with him since their early teens. Their synergy is precious and magical. Spector, as he is called, isnât just a drummer. He plays many instruments, and much of the writing and orchestration can be accredited to him. If he had eight arms he could be his own band. This mansâ got an ear for music. Thereâs no style or genre he canât expand on and bring into the 21st Century.

The album, which was recorded at Room 1 Studioâs with no budget, currently is in the process of being mixed and mastered at Mi Casa Studios in Hollywood by the genius Brant Biles. He is taking the project to a whole other level, The Next Level. D.E.F is blessed to have the support of the people around them, and fans who believe in the project, because they believe in the music and the movement a great deal.
