"Elephant Song" is highly recommended for all people of all ages. It is much more than an odinary Gospel album.!!!
Eddie GM, an accomplished pianist, arranger, composer, singer & producer, is often referred to as a "musician's musician," He played his first piano notes while he was only 3 1/2 years old. At the age of 7, he was enrolled in The Detroit Conervatory of Music for formal Classical Music studies under the strict direction of his senior European Professor. Additional private studies were with renown Jazz, Gospel, Blues, Folk professional musicians. While still 7 years old, "Little Eddie" was also hired as official church pianist. Around age 11, he organized a singing group with which he played, directed and sang.
During these early years, an emerging record company, Motown, began recording a project featuring "Little Eddie."
As a minor, permission to proceed nedded consent from his parents and their signature. When parents refused, the project was never completed nor released.
Years later, However, Eddie recorded his legendary album at Motown accompanied by Motown musicians arrangers and engineers. This monumental recording turned out to be the final session recorded in Detroit's Motown studio, prior to their move from Detroit to California.
Eddie has played and recorded with a number of legendary groups. Among them,The Original Motown Band (The âFunk Bros.â of Detroit), The David Letterman Band (New York), James Brown Band & others. As a composer, he wrote hits for Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, James Cleveland, Tessie Hill, The Dramatics, Destinyâs Child. Ed composed theme music for film and television shows, MTVâs Real people âRoad Showâ and the ever-popular âBonanza.â In addition to writing & producing Gold and Platinum albums, his catalogs contain approximately 100 songs published with Universal Music Group. These include original sheet publications printed by Paramount Pictures & ABC Television (now Duchess/Universal Music).
Some of the Legendary Gospel standards written by Eddie Robinson include,âHe Keeps Doing Great Things For Me" âDonâtâ Forget to Remember (Where All Your Blessings Come From),â â(Let the life you Live Be A) Reflection of the Man Inside,â and âIâve Been Touched.â

MC Hammer, Melba Moore, The Voices of Tabernacle, & The Thomas Whitfield Company, etc. Eddie began his ministry in California, at the First Baptist Church of North Fontana.
Later, in the downtown district of San Bernadino, he organized a menâs outreach ministry that effectively changed many lives. From this dedicated group of men emerged new deacons, ministers and pastors.
National and international travels with evangelistic ministries of The Billy Graham Crusade, Dr. E.V. Hill, Campus Crusade For Christ International and âOperation Starting Lineâ (a nation-wide prison ministry) all contributed greatly towards the maturity of his ministry.
Countries performed include Japan, Korea, China, Moroco, Germany, Swaziland, Turkey, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Thailand & Viet Nam.
After a number of years abroad, Eddie returned to the U.S.A where he completed this project,"Elephant Song," aka ["The Ant & Elephant"] Thisis a very special project that represents several years of work & travels throughout Africa. The title cut features Her Excellency, Chief & tribal leader, Dr.Uwa Osimiri(first female tribal leader of a major African nation). A celebrety in her own right, she joins Eddie, singing in her native African dialect, Ibo. This is another first! The CD is inspirational, motivational, encouraging and educational.
