Details:
Hard Love features a generous selection of pop/rock in the tradition of the classic 1970's acoustic and electric guitar driven sound.
These singer-songwriter "Organic Rock" songs and performances were created by real generous human beings and are void of overproduction or manipulation.
Featured here are some sweet acoustic and electric guitars along with tender male and female harmony background vocals. There is also great Hammond B3 played by Tommy Lepson. The entire CD was recorded and produced by Danny along with featured Bass player/engineer Dallas "Keith" Lykens in various Southern California studios.
The basic tracks were recorded on Adat Digital Tape in L.A. We then mixed and sweetened professionally at Porcupine Studios in Chandler, Arizona. All of Danny's Lead Vocals were recorded using Robert Morin's custom tube microphone pre-amp.
The seasoned, soft-spoken studio engineer and veteran Jeff Harris mixed all tracks. Mr. Porcupine himself, John Wroble, mastered the CD.
