Marcus Doneus works in Linz/Austria as composer, guitarist and owner of the guitar school & -store "gitarreladen ohrwurm." Starting at the age of 7, he spent 10 years in music school learning classical guitar, but very soon made his first steps into composing. Influenced by various artists of the guitar genre, he slowly found his very own musical language. The pieces are instrumental, based on the six string guitar (both nylon and steel string) and are meant as "acoustic paintings" of nature impressions and inner feelings.

Famous New York guitarist Woody Mann describes the music like this:
"Well done Marcus. The compositions are melodic and your playing is relaxed. I find this recording very sensitive and easy to listen to."
