Teresa Tedder is the artist-in-residence at St. Catharine College, St. Catharine, Kentucky, where she teaches music and conducts the Mid-Kentucky Chorus. Ms. Tedder is the 2007 Commissioned Composer for Kentucky Music Teacherâs Association. Two major compositions will be premiered in 2007âWith Malice Toward NoneâAbraham Lincoln, An American Icon, a choral masterwork for SATB chorus and soli, and Come All You Moosechief Hatchers, The Big Sandy Suite, a suite for jazz ensemble. Ms. Tedder has been composing and arranging for 30 years. Audiences are always moved and inspired by her piano arrangements of hymns and gospel tunes. The music is virtuosic but passionate and inspirational. Classical elements are skillfully woven with contemporary styling that adds freshness and vibrancy into the familiar songs of our childhood days.

Ms. Tedder performs extensively with Joanna Ximenes as the piano duet team, Pas de Deux. Their speciality is Brazilian music but their repertoire also includes American popular and folksongs, sacred and the western European composers.
