About Wings Of Heaven

Wendell E. Smith was born and raised in Dover, Delaware. He has been playing the guitar fourteen or more years, and has played for churches, funerals, prisons and nursing homes. He also played with several other groups, such as The Sermonettes of Harrington, Delaware, and the New Sons of Calvery from Salisbury, Maryland.

Loretha H. Smith was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and began singing at an early age. She has performed as a soloist for various churches in Philadelphia and New Jersey. She was a member of the House of Prayer Gospel Choir and recently sang with recording artist, Deacon Ezra Williams and Predestined Praise, before God called her into this ministry.

October 2004 Wendell & Loretha became a husband and wife ministry team. They are members of the Southwest Philadelphia Seventh Day Adventist Church of Philadelphia and have performed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, New York, Florida, St. Louis and Boston. They have appeared on programs with The Watson Four Gospel Singers, Kenny Davis and the Melodyaires, Jay Caldwell, The Sensational Nightengales, The Swanee Quartet, The Mighty Clouds of Joy and the original Blind Boys of Mississippi.
