'American Storm', from the artwork to the music seems so surrealistic at this point. Written, recorded and performed well before anyone had any foreboding of the coming hell that would be named 'Katrina', it has been Donna's goal to help those in need. Portions of sales from 'American Storm', the singles; 'One More Time', 'You Don't Have To Be Here', 'PATRIOTS', 'CrossRoads' and the unexpected popularity of the video 'Blazing Candles', along with support from live performances, have always been dedicated to support Veterans' Homes and Hospitals. Donna formed the 'X' band a few years ago and has ventured out on several solo projects and causes. The most recent being her contribution to the CD 'Rhythm of Honor',(Goodnight Kiss Music), which is a dedication to those who defend our freedoms. Donna's voice allows for a natural, strong, smooth and pleasant command of all her songs, making them quite powerful and feminine, while remaining romantic. She was named after Hurricane Donna in La., which is not only her real name, but where her nickname 'Gale' originated.
