This Christmas Album is made up of originals and traditional songs to add to your collection and playlists.
Bandgard is a band from Arizona consists of mainly one individual, Riley. Riley had a passion for music and loves to compose, record, and perform his stuff. Riley has always loved to sing Christmas songs. It is his favorite holiday. He had recorded several Christmas songs before on his four-track recorder but never had them released. His recordings gradually got better as his knowledge of music increased. Finally, he has come out with a Christmas album that we can all enjoy.

His style is very unique. Riley enjoys making up new melodies to classic hits using the same chords and words. He loves to practice this technique on the very famous Beatles tunes we all love and enjoy. Recently, he has done this on a few of the traditional Christmas songs that are found on the album. Riley has big plans for future albums to be released on the fantastic CDBaby. He is on fire with composing new melodies and is very anxious to finish his songs. Riley is going as fast as he can compose, play, and record his songs. He is now working on a project called 'Go Green Go' that is all about saving the environment. This project should be released through CDBaby in the beginning of 2008.

Riley believes that there is no end to Christmas Songs, especially about our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is fun to sing about Santa also. Christmas is a time of giving of our time and talents to our loved ones. Riley has made this special Christmas album just for you and wishes you a Happy Holidays and a fantastic New Year.

The second song on the album, entitled, "The Best Year Of Our Lives" is all about positive thinking and making goals. Of course, every New Year, we all make goals to do better or change some bad habits. Many of those goals are followed only for a short time, and then forgot about. Riley's wish is that this year, and every New Year, we resolve to be the best individuals that we can be. That can mean chasing a dream that we have had for a while, or ending a bad habit that slows us down. We can all do it; and this song is intended to motivate us to follow through on our resolutions and goals.

The Third Track is about the chaotic shopping day after Thanksgiving. It describes a situation that nearly all of us can relate to- getting up earlier than we want to and heading for the retail stores with their door busters. This year, Riley was able to do that while he was visiting some family in Las Vegas. He woke up really early and headed for an electronics store. He found more than he went there for. He couldn't resist the give-away prices on some of the DVD's and CD's. He spent all morning shopping and was finished by about 10 AM. It felt like a full day to him but it was still in the morning. Riley wishes he had his video camera with him so he could have filmed some of the scenes at some of the stores. It was a typical Black Friday scene that is similar all across the United States. The song 'Black Friday' is all about that. Listen and enjoy it along with the entire album.
