Orange Alert! is the second release from Death Bunny. Currently, Death Bunny is Adam Dodge. His new solo release Orange Alert! is a two year effort. âAlthough I'm a guitarist at heart, I wanted this album to have fully rounded songs and not be a guitar wank-fest. I spent a lot of time writing and performing bass lines, drum sequences and synth parts. I tried to write the lyrics to have meaning. I felt they should be relevant to the story I was telling and not just some nonsensical rhyming bullshit slapped together to get me to the next verse. I chose to approach heavy topics with a dose of humor to candy-coat the bitter truth.â

Death Bunny was started by ex-Anzio Bridgehead guitarist Adam Dodge in 2000 after a long hiatus from music. He met up with a bassist, Mike Connelly and drummer, Jerry Wilson, in 2001 and released an eight song self-titled CD in 2003. By 2004, they couldn't go much further and decided to go their separate ways. Still friends, they hang out and drink beer together.

âI kicked around for a year, struggling with my next step. I tried out for a lot of crap-ass bands. It finally dawned on me that I really liked what I was doing in Death Bunny and decided to continue on as a solo artist. For the last couple of years, I've concentrated on being an independent musician.â
