Details:
Here it is! Grupo Caribe just completed its second CD titled "Ritmo Nativo". Yomo Toro Y La Lloroncita are special guests.

The title track is an Aguinaldo composed by Emilio Rodriguez and arranged by Jose Madera. It features Yomo Toro on Cuatro and La Lloroncita on lead vocals with Luisito Ayala.

The other songs included in this recording have most of the rhythms summed up by the phrase "Salsa Music". Each song is unique in what it has to offer to the listener and dancer. The music is very upbeat and danceable.

The second song is titled "Homenaje A Ismael Rivera". It is a tribute to Ismael Rivera, who is considered one of the best improvisational singers "Salsa Music" had to offer. The song was composed by Emilio Rodriguez and arranged by Sergio Rivera. The rhythms included in this arrangement are Mambo, and Rumba, climaxing with a strong montuno a la Eddie Palmieri.

The third song entitled "Machito Puente y Rodriguez is a cha cha cha written in memory of the three greatest band leaders Salsa Music had to offer. The song was composed and arranged by Sergio Rivera. It is a cha cha cha that includes the rhythms of Danza, Bolero, Mambo and of course the steady pulse throughout of the One Two Cha Cha Cha.

The fourth song is titled "Preparate". It was composed by Lino Iglesias and arranged by Jose Madera. The song is about a guy telling a gal to get ready to dance the best dances of the Caribbean. The rhythms included hear are Bomba, Guaguanco and Mambo. We also included two songs from our first CD and two previously recorded songs by La Lloroncita and Yomo Toro.
