This engaging, relaxing album is an instrumental journey through twenty years of musical collaboration between Russ Hopkins and Jerry Palmer. These tunes were spawned from a variety of circumstances. Quite a few were created during various sound design projects for the award winning theater troupe OpenStage Theatre & Company. Others were created as part of the sound track for the documentary film IN SEARCH OF THE HOLY GRAIL WITH Dr. Robert A. Johnson. Some just escaped the inner world unbidden in quick flashes of inspiration. They come together to create a whole that feels larger than the individual parts. Sonically open yet highly textured, the instrumentation includes guitars, piano, oboe, keyboards, flute, folk harp, percussion, vocalizations, and found sounds.
