Tella Walton was born May 10, 1974, In Anniston, Alabama. His rise to musical stardom, began while domiciled in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas where he first began his experience with music productions products (Casio Key boards and Alesis Drum machines). Afterwards (approximately 2 years later), Tella moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he joined a local Hip-Hop group called âthe 7-Mile Posse.â This was
His firsts recordings ever to be heard by the public, in his escalation to fame. Tellaâs demand for his lyrics was so astonishing, he decided to produce his own music, to accommodate his lyrical styles. In 1993, he moved back to Anniston, Alabama, and began producing for several local performers. Tella runs his own recording studio/label known as Dirty Beatz, however, in 2003 he merged his production with a Bronx producer and founder of N.E.B. Productions, Ken âMustaafaâ Howell to form Dirty Beatz/ NEB

Tella has shown his musical talents, and lyrical compositions on many stages. He appeared on stages and in concerts with; Ray J, Jaheim, Lil Scrappy, Tank, Ying Yang Twins, J. T. Money. Moreover, live performances includes; Birmingham Heritage Festival, Montgomery Jubilee, City Fest, the Juneteenth Heritage Festival, the WEUP Black Arts Festival in Alabama, and Atlantaâs Soul Food and Music Festival.
