Directed by Duane Adler, writer of box office hits "Save the Last Dance" and "Step Up", "God's Waiting List" features Peabody-Award winner Roger Guenveur Smith ("Do The Right Thing"), who plays Solomon who borrows money from loan sharks to open a music store. When he doesn't pay, his sister Teresa (Nicki Michaux, "There Eyes Were Watching God") suffers a crippling accident, but is unaware that it was Solomon's fault. Confined to a wheelchair, Teresa ends her relationship with her girlfriend Rachel (Nian Aster), but after a crisis of faith, becomes a stronger person. Solomon and Rachel are drown together as their world crumble.
All three characters must find redemption through their love for each other.
