Dirty Luck is the first CD from DownDog, a Massachusetts fiddle/rock band with powerful vocals, driving rhythms, bluesy retro guitar leads, and a fiddle style that echoes the Celtic and Appalachian traditions.

The songs range from the upbeat and rockin' anthem "America," which celebrates the freedom our soldiers continue to provide, to the quiet "Immigrant City," about growing up in the proud but weathered mill town of Lawrence, Mass., to a Buffet-like ode to sunny days, bikinis and beaches called "Place in the Sun."
